Nursing and Health Sciences

The Ph.D. aims to train researchers and contribute to the development of advanced research methodology in nursing that can integrate with multidisciplinary and multiprofessional teams in the area of citizen science, one health and health service research.
During their doctoral studies, an individualized program is developed in collaboration with the supervisor and faculty that takes into account the student’s previous experiences as well as their personal goals and objectives. Students in the doctoral program are required to complete a minimum of 36 credits of coursework, a research proposal, a research-based thesis and the thesis defence.
Doctoral students are also expected to apply for funding, to prepare manuscripts for publication and present their work at conferences or other academic forums.
